These terms of use apply to registered users of Walter Maths Tutoring, Walter Maths Academy and to visitors to the service. Every time you visit this website, use its services or make a purchase, you accept the following conditions. This is why we urge you to read them carefully. By accessing Walter Maths Tutoring, Walter Maths Academy, whether as a member or as a visitor you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

License and Site Access

We grant you a limited license to access and make personal use of this website. You are not allowed to download or modify it. This may be done only with written consent from us. If you purchase a Premium Plan this is for individual use only and must be registered with your personal email address. Accounts that are used by more than one user with multiple logins will be suspended with no refund. 

Walter Education LLC is provided without any warranties or guarantees unless specifically stated. We may provide links to other websites or resources. We are unable to accept responsibility for these websites or resources, neither can we be deemed to have endorsed their content, products or services merely because they are accessible via are websites. Walter Education LLC makes no representations or warranties about the information included on this website (including links to third parties’ websites).

Any decisions based on the information contained on this website are your sole responsibility. Information provided by us does not constitute legal or professional advice and should not be relied upon without taking independent advice. Walter Education LLC does not provide any warranty as to the timeliness, accuracy or completeness of the information contained within the website.

User Account

If you are an owner of an account on this website, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your private user details (username and password). You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password.

Please ensure that you sign up with your personal email account if you are a teacher or a tutor and are using this site for your personal use. i.e. please use a non-work domain rather than your school email account. If you would like to show the material in class then there is a School Subscription package available which your students can also use to login to view all the material.

When you first Sign Up you create your account. You have the option to receive email updates including revision tips, the latest video releases and offers and products relevant to your Maths education – if you would not like to receive these then unclick the box. You can also unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking the link in the emails that you receive. In addition to this you will also receive an email when you first Sign Up to the site confirming your free membership of the website.

The internet is not a completely secure medium of communication. Walter Education LLC is not and will not be responsible for any damages the user may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information.

If you register your details with Walter Education LLC (including subscription to email notifications) the details provided by you on registration are important and must be true, correct and complete.

You agree to notify us immediately of any changes that are relevant to your registration by emailing or by completing the relevant user-update process.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the website for any reason, including in particular if your use of the service is likely to cause the whole or part of the service to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or in any way impaired.

In order to maintain the integrity of Walter Education LLC we reserve the right to forward contact details to the police, or other regulatory authorities where requested to do so; we may also forward contact details where a complaint arises concerning your use of the service and where that use is deemed by us to be inconsistent with these user conditions.

School Subscriptions

(Information for teachers, science technicians and finance staff) Once a School Subscription account has been set up an invoice will be sent to the school for payment within 30 days. At the end of the initial subscription period (12 or 24 months) a recurring invoice will be issued. If you should wish to cancel your subscription, or to update contact details, then please email waltermaths263@gmail.com. It is the responsibility of the school to ensure that login details are not shared with students at other schools. 

Refund Policy (Walter Maths Tutoring)

A student may cancel his/her registration up to 4 days prior to the start date and be eligible for a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of the email confirmation. If a student withdraws from his/her course or tutoring service within the first 3 lesson days of the course, a full refund will be provided. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of the email confirmation.

If a student withdraws from his/her course or tutoring service after the first 3 days after the start date or later, no refund will be provided.

The student can only be reimbursed if, due to the fault of the tutor, no lessons have taken place. This includes any free lessons. Depending on the case, proof may be requested in order for the refund to be processed.

If the student has any pending lessons yet to be fulfilled with the tutor, arrangements will have to be done so that those lessons can be fulfilled. No refunds will be made for undone lessons.

It is extremely important that students respectfully attend all sessions on time. If a student is late for a lesson the teacher will wait up to 10 minutes before the student will be considered absent and thus will not be refunded for the lesson. If a student is unable to attend a lesson, the student must contact the teacher a minimum of 2 hours prior to the lesson or they will not be refunded for that lesson.  All efforts will be made from the time the notice is provided to re-schedule the lesson at an agreed upon date and time. This re-scheduling must not influence or interfere with the start of the next course or module.  If the teacher must cancel a lesson, they must also follow this policy.

Refund Policy (Walter Maths Academy – Courses)

If our supply of the Courses or Course materials are delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimize the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any Courses you have paid for but not received.

The Payee may cancel the Agreement and receive a full refund within 7 working days of purchasing a Course provided the Student has not logged in and accessed the Course.

Once a Student has accessed a Course, the Payee is entitled to cancel further participation on a Course at any time but  due to the digital nature of these courses, we are not able to offer a refund of any kind once the course content has been accessed.

Commitment to Walter Education LLC

You agree that you will only use the service in a manner that is consistent with these user conditions and in such a way as to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. In particular, you will not use the service to transmit or post any material which is defamatory, offensive, or of an obscene or menacing nature, or which may, in our judgement, cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety to any person.

To the extent to which your use, or the use by any person who may be authorised by you or for whom you are responsible (for example as a teacher or as the parent or guardian of a child) causes loss or damage to any person, you agree to compensate Walter Education LLC immediately on demand in relation to any such losses or damages associated with Walter Education LLC , including where necessary any legal and administrative, or technical charges that may arise from such use.

You agree that the material and content contained within or provided by Walter Education LLC is for your use only and may not be distributed commercially without our permission.

Your use of the service carries with it no rights in relation to copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights that belong to Walter Education LLC .

Maths Content

Every care has been taken to ensure that all content on the website, including that contained within the videos, is correct and relevant for the course you are studying. If you spot any mistakes then do contact me and let me know.

Please do check with the most up to date specifications published by your exam board to ensure you study the correct topics required for the exams that you take. Every effort has been made to cover as much of the material as you may need but there may still be some parts that have not been filmed before you sit your exams.
